As everyone begins scrambling around... well, I think a fight here is stupid, but they seem set on one, so one is bound to happen.
I take a moment to chant myself up some protection, basic mage armor, that shouldn't seem too aggressive... ((my AC is now 15))
Once they burst in and take the first attacks though... well, I saw what happened to that warrior yesterday, and I'd like to see it not happen to me! I grab a scrap of meat from a nearby table, and case with a wide, sweeping motion and a slippery sounding phrase- and a thick layer of grease sluices out of nowhere for 10 feet from where I gestured, a foot or so from the window they all just sprang through.
((Slick grease covers the ground in a 10-foot square centered on a point within range and turns it into difficult terrain for the duration.
When the grease appears, each creature standing in its area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or fall prone. A creature that enters the area or ends its turn there must also succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or fall prone. ))
