Retiaria jumped high as the wolf snapped at her legs, twisting in the air and landing behind it, ready to dash forwards and hurl her net at the wolf lady. She laughed, pointing menacingly at the now-entangled lupine woman. "You just sit tight there, we'll deal with your little doggies and then we'll be coming for you!"

Gwyn was proud of her team, but even more scared as Red moved towards the scary wolf woman. She couldn't bring herself to follow her. But she wanted to help. Her fury asks, was overwhelmed, but she wouldn't do nothing.

She yelled at the wolf attacking Red, "H-hey! Get your d-damn jaws off her. You are a bad dog, and your fur is stupid."

You let out something that passes for a torrent of abuse given your fear and uncertainty. The wolf cocks it's head and simply growls at the two rodents.

Gwen, overcome with fear, seems to make a couple steps back ready to run, but stands strong feeling a tie to get party is strong than the fear.

"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit," Naethra thought to herself.  All of the wolves were still standing, and Red had just vaulted up and over and... ensnared the terrifying wolf-monster-woman? 

That... was actually good.  It would buy them time, at any rate, even if there was no one standing between her and the wolves. 

She wanted to run... but couldn't think of a good reason for it.  For the moment, things... well, they weren't under control, but she was in about as good a position as any.  She hefted her spear (did it shrink to fit her current size?  Why would it do that?) and readied herself, trying to prepare her next invocation.

Duran gasps, watching that while the pathetic roar was nothing to her, it has morphed Gwyn and Naethra into cowardly small rodents. Something she must stand to protect Oric on the other hand gave a suggestion to fall back and use ranged attacks to halt the wolves. "Great idea with one flaw. I have no range weapons." She replied before facing the deadly beasts which get ready to rush. The dragonborn merely stares them down and smacks her mace against her shield, challenging them so that they would not harm her more helpless friends right now. It seems to have worked in drawing two right at her but Duran fail to realize one thing. She never fought beasts before and their quick speed and fast movement allowed the duo to charge right for her. Both slipping pass her shield and hitting her right on the chest and side. Her legs start to buckle...

...But she holds her position! Not faltering to the ground even as the rush of pleasure courses though her and try to throw her off. Her thoughts briefly wonder on how even a strike like that would make her feel so good but continues to hold her self and not fall prone. She hears of her friends tactics to take out the weaker one by Retiaria first but with two on her now, she can't afford to divert attention just yet. "Hurry up and finish that one, I can't hold these two off forever... " She warned but was still determined to sure as abyss try. Looking for an opening she found those wolves to be quite fast, she can't put all her effort into the strike but maybe, with a quick maneuver a good strike to it's face might dis-sway the beast from causing more trouble. She goes for it, a quick jab of her own against one of the two wolves trying to take her down.

Refit Required: - 1 AC and disadvantage on Dex based skills, saves, attack rolls. Resizing armor will fix this. Or probably shedding dem pounds.

Pleasantly Plump: -2 fitness penalty to Dexterity. -5 foot fitness penalty to movement. Gain benefits of the Tough Feat. Welp. Time to gen to love my awsome new pudgy pinkness!

THe wolf woman scowls as the net lands on her, but lets out another sustained howl..

(Naethra may make a new save against being prey)

The howl is a deep and primal thing her hands gain longer pearly claws and she reaches out slashing with her hands cutting away the net sending weights landing every which way.

"Oh shit, oh shit," Naethra murmured as the wolf-thing roared again, her claws changing shape, becoming decidedly more lethal looking.

Naethra finds herself returning to her plant kin form and the prey nature fadeing from her.

I'm starting to feel pretty smart about coming up this tree- I'm not entirely sure how I got up here, my memories of climbing are... a little fuzzy. I was running from the wolves, and the tree seemed a natural place to flee, then after a few moments I managed to calm down- but now I have the high ground, and I intend to use it.

I point at the more humanoid... is she a gnoll? That's my best guess, I've not seen a creature quite like her before regardless. Anyway, I point at her, focusing my will at the tip of my fingers as I mutter my next incantation, culminating ina small, bright mote of flame arcing towards her.

I see Duran has no intention of backing off just a bit to late as the wolves strike. Returning to Durans side I invoke my last divine favor, attempting to cure her wounds [d8+3+3= 4+3+3 = 10]

As Duran tries to deal with the wolves, she feels a familiar hand on her, restoring some of her strength and focus back to her. "Ahhh, thanks. Oric, I really needed that!"

Naethra sucked in air slowly, in deep, deliberate breathes.  She... wasn't a rodent anymore.  She had gained a couple feet of height back, and she could feel her leaves rustling along her neck.  When did being mostly plant start to feel so right?  Under other circumstances that would warrant a panic attack, but at the moment it was maybe the sixth biggest thing she'd have to worry about.

She was whole again.  All three wolves were still up, and the big one had just torn through the net.  The guy in the tree's spell had missed, but his first one looked like it knocked the wolves around.  And she had landed a fairly good hit on the one that had charged at Red.

It was still standing, so she decided to try and strike it down.  She leveled her focus and touched the coiled magic within her.

(Casting Eldritch Blast: 9 (d20) + 3 (charisma modifier) + 2 (proficiency modifier) = 14.  Damage = 9 + 3 + 1 = 13 Lightning Damage)

[Alice]

The wolf is struck and falls down letting out a howl before going silent. The other two each divide and bite for a target within reach.

The wolf scrambles against Duran's shield and is unable to purchase against the dragon born..

The other wolf however uses a moment of distraction pounce upon Oric biting down hard.. (Oric takes 12 damage and must make a str save)
