Admittedly, being a flattened disc was surprisingly comfortable, once a murderously obese gnoll wasn't standing on you.  It, sadly, wasn't the worst thing to happen to Naethra this week.  Still, she struggled, trying to will her magic out of the prison her flattened form had become.  It may have been her imagination, but she thought she got herself to wiggle a bit.

The big queen was down, but there was still fighting.  She could hear that, but she couldn't quite make sense of what, exactly, had gone disastrously wrong.

A thought occured.  If they were going to fail here and now, she damned well wanted to say 'I told you so' to Oric's ass-licking face.  She struggled anew.

Although it's a struggle to leave that comfortable one inch thick state... Naethra goes back to her normal shape with a slight popping sound and may act.

Duran was rather for a swing, a strike. A threat, or hell even a grapple. But what she wasn't ever prepared for was the mighty bootycheck that strikes her hard! Upside, the one that got her good vanished into smoke.

Duran feels massive pressure from the mighty booty check flinging her into the wall and flattening her into an inch thick disk with a butt print right on her face.

Naethra staggered to her feet and...

"What the fuck?" she muttered aloud.  She saw Duran become flattened, the gnoll queen was still alive, and holding a cupcake with... eyes.  And Oric was nowhere to be seen.

Well, this seemed like a good time to pull out everything she had, before the fat bitch had a chance to squash her again.  She'd been pondering a spell, a glamour of sorts, that could help keep her in the fight until the end...

(Naethra casts mirror image with her last 2nd level slot.)

She darted, in no particular direction, her two illusory clones doing similar.  Anxious from her period still and flat, she reached for the font of power within her and called it forth.  She felt the magic suffuse her, course through her body and arc across her fingers, mirrored in her illusory reflections.  As one, they all lift the focus on their left hands and called forth an orb of color and lightning, flinging it at the gnoll.

(Naethra uses her last two sorcery points to cast quicken Chromatic Orb, making it count as a bonus action: d20 = 4 + 2 (prof) +3 (charisma) + 3 (bardic inspiration) = 12, so that's not happening.  Shame, since the damage roll would have been 3d6 = 14 hypothetical damage.)

Getting use to being stuck as nothing more then a disk felt bit harder then when she was a rag or shoes. Those felt like the purpose was immediate and easy to grasp where she still trying to figure out why she's a flat disk of herself. Trying to work out the purpose of this form, nearly lost her focus but she couldn't let those thoughts falter her need to keep Red and Oric fighting the hip checking Gnoll Queen. Besides, things aren't all bad being nice, flat and round. It didn't hurt at least and Naethra didn't seem to mind it either or else she been talking bout how horrible the experience was. It certainly could be worse and with how nice things are going she's sure they can handle the Gnoll Queen and Eve will be fine and not... doom herself. Wait...

"Eve!" realizing time isn't on their side and the gnoll's danger of ruining herself if they don't stop the Gnoll Queen quickly was enough to pop the dragonborn back to her full form. However her horror only got worse as she searched and found The Gnoll Queen holding a small cupcake with eyes. There's no sign of a familiar dwarf unless by some luck she's standing behind said fat gnoll and out of Duran's vision. "ORIC!!" Rushing forth, the dragonborn tries to swing her mace to smack the gnoll queen from her tasty prize! Or take her out. Whichever comes first!

That was... what the hell kind of magic was that?? Motes of pure arcane power somehow blown kisses? Still looking like this goblin I had disguised myself as didn't help either. I meant to make myself more intimidating before we started, but things began pretty much all at once, and I don't have the mental effort to spare at the moment to fix it just now. I reached again for the chaotic energy of this world,shaping it with my will and... oh who am I kidding, it's not going to come out looking cool, and effectiveness is important if the dwarf is to avoid being eaten... maybe going with it will work this time? I blow kisses at the queen, blushing at doing so.

Lou could almost swear she felt a finger stroke her long green ear.. a half heard whisper.. "my sweet Layla...You learn this place.."

Another kiss appears smacking into the fat ass of your target.

"Fucking fuck!" Retiaria swore as her comrades started falling. At least Naethra was back up- and there were two of her now?-, but Duran and Oric had both gone down in quick succession, one as another disc (what was with these discs anyway? The queen certainly seemed fond of them for some reason) and the other as a cupcake, being raised up to the queen's mouth even as Retiaria watched.

"Oric! I got you! Just... shake it off, yeah?"

[Bardic inspiration to the Oricupcake]

Sprinting over towards the gnoll, she snarled "Munch on this instead, bitch!" as she thrust her trident at the queen's hand. Alas, she was too careful to avoid Oric, and ended up missing the queen entirely. Grunting in annoyance, she pulled her arm back for another thrust, this time delivering a well aimed jab to the gnoll queen's paw- and catching the dwarven cupcake cleric between the trident's tines. With a well practised twist of her wrist, the cake was flicked from the queen's grasp. With both hands full, Retiaria had to think fast- her tail shot out to try and catch the cupcleric as it fell.

The stab through the paw seems to trouble her just a bit as she squirms slightly, but keeps a grip on her treat.

I shiver at the whisper. It... I can't help but mouth the question 'Layla?'  The... casual familiarity with which the voice addressed me was possibly more unnerving than anything else. I couldn't pretend not to know who or what she meant by 'Layla', not really, even if I didn't embrace it, and the persistent touches, certainly deliberate reminders that I am effectively naked, at this being's mercy. It's /exciting/. What? No! Of course not that, it's just the... how damage effects people here, obviously. I will still find a way to right myself.

Looking at the situation, I try to think of something save Oric. I send a whisper into the queen' s ear. "Don't eat the cupcake. Drop it and RUN"

The queen raises her eye brow as Gwyn's magic washes over her but she manages to mostly resist it's effects.
