Power Girl – White
I’ve been wanting to try to use a negative space idea with this character for a while. She has a enough items that are solid color and areas that have texture to pull it off. I think it went ok, but I want to hear what you think.
Power Girl – Blue
I’ve been wanting to revisit shooting the character Power Girl for a while. I think I got some fun stuff out of it. And I did a bit of experimenting with shots that I still need to edit, but in the meantime I thought I would share this one for now.
Liberty & Justice – Aftermath
The last 8 posts have been featuring a comic I wrote called Liberty & Justice. I thought I’d share a bit more from the comic and share with you the first couple sketches of the character I got from the wonderful, talented artist who drew the short book for me.
Also, I’ve been kicking around other ideas with the comic about continuing the story several years later and asked the artist to give what she thought Kid Liberty would look like as an adult. Here it is.

Sketch – 05 – Power Girl
I’ve been trying to find a little time here and there to practice my drawing skills and get them back up to par. I’ll share with you when ever I finish a small drawing.
I’ve shot photos of Power Girl a couple times, but this is my first attempt at drawing her. I’m happy with her face and cape, but arms need some work.
Look! In the Sky!
More photos from a recent shoot. This time it’s Supergirl! While I like these images, I sadly have to report my shoot didn’t go quite as planned. We wanted to do the taking off the dress shirt to show the costume, but I miscalculated on the size of the shirt vs size of the costume and cape. Also I shot some images on a blue background which looked nice, but I really liked the way she pops against the black back ground.
Catwoman
A couple of weekends I went to a Halloween themed group shoot up in Wisconsin to do some special effect make up. Unfortunately I didn’t get to do too much make up. But in my down time i did get some time with a couple of the girls who were dressed up and take some photos while I was there.
The first shoot I was able to do was with Crystal, who was dressed up as DC Comic’s Catwoman.I got to make good use of the fantastic factory buildings around the studio for an urban look, in spite of being in the wilds of Wisconsin.
