In the previous post I mentioned I had made some Atari wall hangings. I had the leftover games from a shoot I did a while back and I thought I could make something cool out of them. Currently I’ve sent to a an art show in MN to be potentially auctioned off over the July 4th weekend. If any of them don’t sell and don’t go back up on my wall, Imay be looking to sell on etsy or ebay, or something fun.
Anyways for those that are curious here are some images of the sets.

On a random whim I was shooting 1950′s style images. We got one of the local models, dressed up as a 50′s bobby soxer. I think it suited her well. We were going to shoot downtown Joliet, but I got a little distracted as I passed the cemetery on the way. There was just a nice somber feeling in the air that I thought that lost love idea might be interesting to try.

Continuing my journey downtown to the train station I was planning on shooting I was distracted yet again. Downstairs in the train station is a bar; the name of which eludes me at the moment. I briefly asked if it was alright to shoot in the bar, having a pretty girl there to shoot easily made that answer a ‘yes’. The bar was very modern, but with out the skirt visible, and most of the bar blurred in the background I think it works well.

Finally we reached our destination of the art deco curves of the Joliet Union Station built in 1912. We had took some images of her with the sweater, but then we toughened her up by adding in the leather jacket.
