002 – C2E2

I went to C2E2 as a fan today. It was a nice show. Lots of great guests and cool stuff to look at. I got a couple sketches while I was there that I might share with you all later on. For my daily photo I got my friend Tom Kelly working on a sketch/paint commission of a super-heroic Hello Kitty. When he’s not drawing that at a show he does some great illustration work that you can check out here.

Chicago Comic-Con Sketches – Part 3

http://lazeedog.deviantart.com/

Every year I hit the Chicago Comic-Con (formerly Wizard World Chicago) and one of the things I love to do there is get sketches from the people in artist alley. We like to give thema  bit of a challenge and make a list of random concepts for them to draw. So I thought I would share some of the wonderful work I got from the talented people this year.

This set of sketches of various ideas.

Sketch – 05 – Power Girl

I’ve been trying to find a little time here and there to practice my drawing skills and get them back up to par. I’ll share with you when ever I finish a small drawing.

I’ve shot photos of Power Girl a couple times, but this is my first attempt at drawing her. I’m happy with her face and cape, but arms need some work.
