Shift Preview
I’m going to be drawing Shift starting at the end of the month, and I thought I’d put up a sample image of the low quality work that will be featured after Rich’s fantastic work on the comic.
Enjoy.
I Have a Feeling That’s Not Her Real Name
WEEK 3 – SWEET TREATS
More fun theme sketches for the DA group. Again I’ve been drawing stuff based of quotes that pop in my head when I hear the theme. This time around was Spike from Buffy & Angel watching a stripper and saying, “Is that right? Funny, thought I knew exactly where I was. Place called the Peppermint Stick. Prima ballerina up there’s Sunshine. Though I’m fairly certain that’s not her real name.”
I had to look that up to get it right. Thanks you obsessive fans.
Also you may notice that this sketch is color vs. my normal b/w. Well, I got new pens for christmas and since I left the old pens somewhere else, this is a good chance to play with color until I can get my old pens back.
I Knew I’d Kill You in a Hall of Mirrors

WEEK 2 – REFLECTIONS
On DeviantArt I’ve started contributing to a group called #weeklies. Mainly the idea is that they suggest a topic each week and everyone draws something on the topic and sends it in. It’s a good way to keep drawing and try new things. The theme for this sketch was “Reflections”.
I went the Simpson’s quote routeand attempted to illustrate the like of “I always knew I’ll kill you in a hall of mirrors” Most of this was done traditionally. I have a couple spots that were blank when I cropped it into my square and I drew them in with the pen on the wacom tablet.
Sketch – 08 – The Seamstress
I’ve been trying to find a little time here and there to practice my drawing skills and get them back up to par. I’ll share with you when ever I finish a small drawing.
This is a character I had in my old comic series. She was inspired by the costume shop I worked at when we were griping that with the new movie superhero costumes, that there is no way those characters could make them on their own. So The Seamstress is the hero that makes all the costumes for heroes and villains alike.

Sketch – 07 – Fall
I’ve been trying to find a little time here and there to practice my drawing skills and get them back up to par. I’ll share with you when ever I finish a small drawing.
I’m not sure what the story is, but I wanted to change the pace and layout around a bit.

Sketch – 06 – Zombie Ed
I’ve been trying to find a little time here and there to practice my drawing skills and get them back up to par. I’ll share with you when ever I finish a small drawing.
I intended to just draw a zombie here, but it kind of ended up resembling zombie Ed from Shaun of the Dead.

Sketch – 05 – Power Girl
I’ve been trying to find a little time here and there to practice my drawing skills and get them back up to par. I’ll share with you when ever I finish a small drawing.
I’ve shot photos of Power Girl a couple times, but this is my first attempt at drawing her. I’m happy with her face and cape, but arms need some work.

Sketch – 04 – Punisher
I’ve been trying to find a little time here and there to practice my drawing skills and get them back up to par. I’ll share with you when ever I finish a small drawing.
This one started off kinda random with the head in the corner, but once I decided it was mounted on the wall, the Punisher came naturally.

Sketch – 02 – Riddler
I’ve been trying to find a little time here and there to practice my drawing skills and get them back up to par. I’ll share with you when ever I finish a small drawing.
Today is a sketch is another one I did during the last comic con while I was sitting at my table to promote the photos. Riddler has always been one of my favorate Batman villians.
Also this is my 100th post!
Sketch – 01 – Hulk
I’ve been trying to find a little time here and there to practice my drawing skills and get them back up to par. I’ll share with you when ever I finish a small drawing.
Today is a sketch I did during the last comic con while I was sitting at my table to promote the photos. I was always amused by those old Hostess Fruit Pie ads they used to put in the comics.
Venture Bros. – Season 4
Ok, I’m a big fan of the Venture Bros., and I can’t help but share the preview for the new season of the show. The 4th season starts in November, so there is a lot of time to try and figure out what all this insanity means.
