Always Ascending

A quick inspection of the bag of flour, the leather pouch of coins, and the box reveal no lingering magical traces or reactions of any kind.

The potions are revealed to be two potions of calm thoughts (see also healing) and a single potion of accelerated metabolism.

Oric:

I take a quick breather and pack away my portion of the gold and flour. After investigating them I discard the mundane box and bag. I take a drink of Gwenbrough, perhaps more than "A" drink but being a dwarf it's not entirely unexpected right? After recovering a bit I look to the rest of the group "Ready to go everyone?"

during the break, Gwyn splits up the 30 GP giving everyone 5GP each.

She also sings a song of rest, recapping the fight, but leaning a bit heavy on how heroic she was.  She milks her breasts filling up a few mugs of If Gwenbrau and passes them out, before getting something to drink for herself, water.

[If Gwenbrau is drunk during a short rest it restores 1 hp, plus 1 additional HP for every Hit Die the drinker spends.]

Pocketing the cash, Retiaria sat back and listened to Gwen's song, enjoying the rest. Her tail- and after a minute or so, hand- drifted between her legs while they relaxed.
As the mugs were handed out, she smiled up at Gwen. "Hey, mind if I take it straight from the tap instead?"

Gwyn smiles and nods. She pulls down her shirt so she can drink.

Red's response only flusters the dragonborn more as she blushes a bit. She nods to Oric's suggestion to rest though truly not feeling even remotely tied yet. Course she didn't take a hit nor had to tap into her divine gift from Aircame yet. "Hmm, they could be working for the gnoll but maybe they just part of the forest like that green thing and the wolves?" Duran suggested to Naethra as she leans against a tree for the moment. Still when she heard that they will not return to town to fix the flour'ed hero did disappoint the dragonborn but the reasoning was too solid to complain about. If only she had more strength, she could perhaps just cure the person here on the spot?

"Well I'm ready when you guys are.. though.. guessing Red needs a bit more to drink." The dragon born says, eyeing Gwyn and Red quite curiously at this point.

Retiaria took one of Gwen's nipples in her mouth and began sucking, playing with herself as she enjoyed the delicious beer. The manual relief combined with the Gwenbrau's healing properties soon had her feeling a lot better. Releasing the nipple, she licked up the last few drops, kissed it and said "Gods, you taste good."

((Just realised I forgot about the D6 from song of rest! Gaining an additional 4HP from that. I also forgot my con mod, so +1 = 5 extra in total.))

I nod "This place is... thoroughly disorienting. That... seems very deliberate, honestly, which is terrifying... time to gather our thoughts and proceeding with /diligence/ and /care/ can only benefit us."

There. That should communicate my meaning that everyone is being crazy and reckless under the circumstances subtly. I meditate and recoup some of my arcane mojo.

The group is unmolested during their short rest and are able to identify the magical properties of the potions they found.

"Hmm... I think I should use that potion to finally slim down." She looks at her own wide belly as she looks at the metabolism potion. "Least then I won't be such a big looking target..."

[Nihtgenga]

"Yeah, the speed boost would be pretty great for one of us, but that does not look comfortable. Go for it, I say."

Oric:

I give Durans butt a squeeze as I hand her the potion "It's a shame to lose this lovely rear, but it can't be helped if you're not comfortable."

"A more mobile paladin would be a more effective paladin," Naethra commented, "to be honest, I'm not really sure how you're able to keep moving with everything you have down there."

Unspoken, she wondered if the potion would make Duran a less effective meat-shield.  Or if she should trust the potion to change her, even if it was supposed to undo a previous, handicapping change.  She wondered if she's be so quick to drink something that advertised a return to flesh and blood.

She tried not to focus on Red and Gwyn's flirting, but when Lou spoke up she nodded in agreement.  "Every minute we spend resting gives them more time to prepare an ambush, shore up defenses, or scout is out.  We should try to keep moving."

"It certainly would be nice to fit properly in my gear again.." Duran pointed out even as she gasps at the squeeze on her rear, blushing but taking the potion. She can't help but find it so embarrassing at this point to have everyone point out how big she got over trying one given treat. A lesson she learned but not well enough considering she drinks down the potion. Hoping for it to work as intended. "Mmnn ah... yeah. Once I can move again, I'll be able to stay in the front and keep you all safe."

Though in truth, she was just wishing to be a step closer to what she was before ending up in this dungeon. Maybe.. just maybe there's a gender changing potion coming up...

...a dragonborn can hope, right?

Duran drinks the potion. It tastes like nothing so much as sparkling carrot juice..

It fizzes all the way down and Duran feels the warmth through her body.

Everyone else can see Duran's body start to slim down, it's almost as disturbing to watch the Dragon Born's body grow thinner, her curves narrowing somewhat, although she does still seem to be blessed with egg laying hips.

The part of her that changes least however is her chest. Her bounty now extends far enough from her body to put her belly in shade.

Duran then becomes ravenously hungry.
