Always Ascending

Duran continued to pray until she heard the plan about using the villages to scout for them. To which she turns backa round. "I don't care what plan that puts which of us at risk.But we aren't about to use the villagers as bait, especially not Gavin whom risked her tail enough to get us this far." The dragon born stated her opinion on that matter before Gwyn just asked if they are ready. "Okay.. Take up point, wait for your return. hearing No means to run. 60 passes then come  find you. I take it that's 60 minutes?"

Gwyn realizes her misspoken thought. "I was thinking 60 seconds. Maybe too short. 5 minutes?"

"Yeah sixty seconds implies you hope to run into them right away which might not be the case.. I think five minutes s reasonable in case something went wrong."

[Ordos]

Naethra winced at the words 'sexy plant'.  And Gwyn didn't say sorceress... Naethra knew Oric had her suspicions, but she hasn't guessed anyone else was close.

She shook her head at the paladin's objections.  "They wouldn't be bait, they'd be informants.  Peasant spies are critical to operations in hostile territory.  They wouldn't be at any greater risk than they already are."  unless they got caught ripping the party off, she thought but purposefully didn't say.

Still, the plan as-is should probably work.  She readied her spear and focus and tried to foster a calmness and clarity of mind she absolutely did not feel at the moment.

"Ready when you are.  Opening that door and and stepping out will be the most dangerous part.  Of we were followed or sold-out, then there will be an unwinable fight and a... gruesome fate waiting for us the instant we open that."

She looked around quickly.  Was there another way out of the brewery?

"I never said anything about bait, that's definitely me and Gwen!" Retiaria replied with a roll of her eyes. "Just, y'know, have them point out where the goblins are, how many of them, that sorta thing. So we're not wandering around like dumbarses. But yeah. I'm ready to go."

She held out her shield and trident for someone to take.

[Roselli]

"Good. Let's go wander around like dumbasses." Gwyn pulled Red along outside making her drop her toys before getting outside, if no one grabbed them.

Outside she looked around for any of the goblins or a direction that looked promising.

Duran was about to go into what probably would been a pointless argument over what could be considered too risky for asking the villagers to do towards both Retiaria and Naethra's suggestions. But just Gwyn's immediate words after Retiaria took her sour face into a smile makes her shake her head. "Either way.. I'm just worried the longer we take to do something, the more likely they'll take hostages to flush us out. Faster we get it done and deal with them, the better. Good luck you two..." The paladin gives a nod to both the goblinized Gwyn and the Retiaria, hoping this all goes well considering they won't know to react  until the duo doesn't return in five or so minutes.

Leaving her gear in the brewery for someone to pick up, Retiaria followed along. Once outside, she faked struggling against Gwen's hold, loudly complaining "Get off of me, you stupid green bitch! Fuck you, and the dog you work for!"

She then whispered to Gwen "Nice disguise, by the way. But we should probably sell it, yeah? Do whatever you need to to make this a good show."

She then went back to loudly 'struggling' against her 'captor'.

"Quiet you." Gwyn playfully restrained her captive while giving a gruff voice.

She felt the same with the illusion. In fact a little unsure what the external appearance was. It had been a while since she had cast this spell and there wasn't exactly a mirror in the brewery.

Gwyn started to lead them around the small village. She thought the store house near the field seemed like a logical place. Or she was remembering information she was told and tricking herself into thinking it was logical deduction.

[Alice]

Stepping out of the brewery does not bring a swarm of goblins..

Walking towards the storehouse only brings towns folks getting out of the way.

Getting to the store house it doesn't seem like much.. The door isn't even latched. Inside two of them stuff their faces with fruit while another in dancing silks uses a woman in skirts as a chair while another is forced to lick her feet.

[Roselli]

Gwyn whispers to Red "struggle and escape to alert the others. They will follow. Alert the others, but they should be ready."

Gwyn enters the room with Red in her arm, "Hey, I found one of them. Maybe she can tell us where they are all hiding."

[Nihtgenga]

"Argh, get off me! Let me go!"

Retiaria was 'dragged' into the room behind Gwen.

"I ain't telling you greenskin bitches a damn thing! Screw you all!"

She shoved Gwen aside and bolted, sprinting back towards the brewery.

[Roselli]

Gwyn falls back on her butt, watching Retiaria run off.
Gwyn calls for the goblins to help her, "Shit. She's getting away. Help me catch her. Follow her."

[Alice]

The performace is.....

adequate..

The goblins get up leaveing one girl moaning dazzed and two otheres cringing back from the bard.

Red pelts hard for the team and the goblins run after.. in moments they will be at the brewery

Gwyn gets up and looks at the villagers. She thought about dropping the spell, but she still needs to chase after Retiaria. So she addresses the girls as a goblin.

"They are distracted.  Get out of here and get your selves somewhere safe. I'll take care of the goblins" Gwyn leaves them and stuns after the gobljns and Red.
