Here is a unique magic item picked up by the players:

Pendant of the Hunters Essence

This crystal pendant contains an unknown energy that fills the wearer with connection to woodlands.

This items requires attunment

When worn by a creature with class levels the pendant provides one level one ranger spell slot and allows the preparation of one ranger spell.

When worn by a creature with no class levels it makes them a level three ranger with the beast master class variant.

More write ups..

There is a group of beings of extraordinary power who fought along side the gods. They are worshiped collectively as the "Hero's of the Fall'

One of them is worshiped by a few as Violet the Purple Dragon goddess of service. She represents those who serve to the best of their ability no matter the hands fate has dealt them. She is also a goddess of Fidelity rewarding loyalty to ones friends, causes, and ones word.
Direct Worship of her is rare at this point as she has never directly manifested any miracles in this world, still for those whom her creeds to service, loyalty, and self discovery hold true she is well loved.
Her symbol is a collar made from Larual leaves.

Unique magical item:

The purple Dragons gift:
This cloth band can be worn in a variety of ways, as a collar, a wrist band, even a garter around the thigh. While worn they are always tight enough to be felt as a constant presence but never so tight as to be uncomfortable. While worn it allows the wearing to use the wizard spell Prestidigitation three times per day, but only to clean. These bands appear sometimes in the gear of loyal followers of goddess of service, but none have ever admitted to making them. They are rarely seen abandoned but if not picked up once found they are never there a second time if one returns for it.

A few bands have been found in the hands of those who have nothing to do with the goddess, and despite being clean and worn, it feels like they are treated as objects of scorn.

The Plant Kin:

(History write up and such if there is a call for them to actually be a legitimate part of the game world.)

Type: Humanoid Plant
Ability score increase: Constitution increases by 1, and Charisma increases by 2
Age: They grow as normal plants for a human life time, then become wandering humanoid plants from anywhere from one hundred to three hundred years, after which they will return to the forest to mother the next generation of their  kind, eventually becoming new massive trees in the forest to spend the ends of their lives providing for the forests they came from.
Alignment: As plants of the forest they tend toward neutrality, but during their wandering phase will often adapt the alignments of humanoids they choose to wander with.
Size: Wandering Plant Kin are medium size
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet

This can be used to deliver touch spells or to crudely push or pull something weighing no more than twenty pounds. It cannot be used for anything that requires fine manipulation. The vines may be used once before a short or long rest.
Fruit: You may during a long rest produce up to six fruits. Each fruit picked reduces our HP by one. Any non plant creature that consumes one  regains one hit point and is treated as having consumed necessary food for the day. Any plant creature that consumes one coming from another plant kin regains ten hp and may make new saving throws against any poison or disease they are suffering. These fruits lose their special quality 24 hours after being picked.
Plant resilience: with sufficient soil you may root yourself turning more treeish a trunk from the thighs down, branches for arms.. You are considered paralyzed and helpless for 4 hours, the end of which time you will have all ability uses restored, all health and hit-dice restored, and all status effects that a save could end removed.

The 'Kegged' status condition.

The target of the enchantment is filled with an alarming amount of Beer, wine, or other consumable fluid. While Kegged their maximum speed is reduced by 10 and they suffer disadvantage on all saves, skill checks, and attack rolls.

This condition may be ended by taking a double length short rest to milk the fluids out.

Another treasure:

The Multi-Ax: Requires attunment

This all in one tool bears the marks of an old sea fairing tribe upon it. In it's base form it appears as nothing more than a jewelry charm granting advantage on checks to conceal it.
The next stage is a hand ax with hidden thieves tools inside. These tools vanish when the ax transforms, but a new complete set appears inside the handle whenever the ax changes to this shape.
The next stage is a battle ax, that on mental command sheds light as a torch.
The Final stage is a great ax that while having no special tools grants a +1 bonus to hit.

The ax's forms may be switched as an action, and must go in sequence from charm to great ax and back to charm.

Threat Identification:

All beings with a heroic class now get in their tool box for free, an INT based 'threat ID' check that can be made once per monster per level, and uses their proficiency bonus.

Potion of increased metabolism [consumed]

This potion hyper charges the processes of the drinkers body for a short time. Consuming the potion results in being under the effect of a haste spell for one minute. After this time they become ravenously hungry suffering disadvantage on all rolls until such a time as they have consumed a days worth of food.

This potion counters and is countered by fattening effects such as a dulcine's plumping effect. The hunger happens regardless of the haste being canceled however.

Unreliable:
A magic item trait that can be added to any activated magical item. Either deliberately, or as a result of shoddy craftsmanship. When activating an unreliable magic item roll 1d20. On a roll of 2-5 the item does nothing. On a roll of 1 the target switches the the one activating the magic item then it activates.

Bag of curses:
This simple cloth pouch contains bits of what seem to be trash. Once per day an object can be drawn from the pouch and used to cast the spell Bestow Curse on any target within ten feet.
